KRE-O Building Sets A3138 Editorial Review
The KRE-O Star Trek Space Dive Construction Set A3138 has garnered a mixed response from customers, with a range of experiences highlighting both its strengths and weaknesses. For dedicated Star Trek fans, the set serves as an enjoyable collectible that blends creativity with nostalgia. Many users appreciate the high-quality Construction of the bricks and the overall cleverness of the designs, especially emphasizing the uniqueness of the Kreon figures. The glowing Captain Kirk figure has received specific praise, being a focal point for enthusiasts who enjoy interactive features within the Construction experience. However, there are notable concerns regarding the set's value and utility. While the light-up feature on the Captain Kirk figure adds an element of fun, several users found it difficult to operate, requiring excessive pressure to activate. Additionally, several reviews mention disappointment with the set's limited scope, particularly noting that the impressive space dock doors only serve as standalone pieces without further attachments or structures, which diminishes their play potential. Despite these criticisms, the affordability of the KRE-O Star Trek sets is a significant selling point, providing a cost-effective alternative to other brands like LEGO. Many buyers appreciate that these building blocks are compatible with LEGO, allowing for expanded play opportunities. Overall, the KRE-O Star Trek Space Dive Construction Set is celebrated for its character figures and relative affordability, while also facing criticism for its play features and structural limitations. **
